Duration of Course: 5 Years
Age Requirement: The candidate shall have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete this age on 31 st December of the year in which he/she seeks admission.
Eligibility: In case of admission on the basis of qualifying examination, a candidate for admission to BDS Course must have passed (10+2 or equivalent examination) individually in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 50% of marks taken together and passing marks in English. In respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST or other backward classes 40% instead of 50%. The candidate must have to appear either CET or Comed-k Exams for seeking admission.
Students Activity
Beside imparting excellent knowledge to the student the college also encourages co-curricular activities in the field of sports and culture. A vast play ground is provided for the games like cricket and foot ball and there are facilities for indoor games like table tennis, badminton, chess and carom. The college also extends support to its students to take part in university level competition.
Ragging is Criminal Offence and Punishable
Any disorderly conduct whether words spoken or return or by any act which the effect of teasing, tweeting or handling with rudeness any other student, indulging in rowdy or indiscipline activities which causes or is likely to cause annoyance, hardship or psychological harm or to raise fear or apprehension thereof in a fresher or junior student or asking the students to do any act or perform something which such student will not do in the ordinary course and which has effect of causing or generating a sense of shame or embarrassment to has to adversely affect the physic or psyche of a fresher of junior student.
Admissions to Dental Hygienist/Dental Mechanic Certificate Course
Eligibility : To be eligible for admission to Dental Hygienist/Dental Mechanic Certificate Course, the candidate should have passed the qualifying examination 10 th /Matriculation exam.
Duration of Course : 2 Years
Migration
Migration from one Dental College to another college after admission is generally not permitted and the Dental Council of India is the final authority to permit such change which considers only exceptional cases on extreme compassionate grounds.
Attendance
75% in Theory and 75% in Practical/Clinicals in each subject in each year.
Schedule of examination :
The university shall conduct two examinations annually at an internal of not less than four to six months on notified by the university from time to time. The written examination in each subject shall consist of an paper of three hours duration and shall have maximum of 70 marks.
Internal assessment marks
A minimum of the Internal Assessment to be held in an academic year and the average of these tests shall be sent to the university.
